Our full day is $155, but most families pay far less once the Child Care Subsidy is applied. Move the slider to estimate yours.
This is an estimate only, based on 2026–27 CCS rates (from 6 July 2026) and Syndal’s current fees. It assumes one child under school age and pre-booked sessions. Your actual subsidy is determined by Services Australia; by default 5% of CCS is withheld until end-of-year balancing. Families with more than one child aged 5 or under may receive a higher rate for younger children.

An 11-hour day
Open 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks a year.

Kinder-age children learn with a VIT-registered Early Childhood Teacher.

Setting up your CCS
The Child Care Subsidy is paid by the Australian Government straight to us, so you only pay the gap.
Apply in myGov
Complete the CCS assessment through your Centrelink account in myGov.
Send us your details
Give us your Customer Reference Number (CRN) and your child’s CRN.
Confirm your enrolment
When we lodge your enrolment, confirm it in myGov so your subsidy can start.
Pay the gap
Full fees apply until your subsidy is confirmed in our system.
The 3 Day Guarantee
Eligible families get at least 3 days of subsidised care a fortnight. It covers long day care, Integrated Kinder and before and after kinder care. Free Sessional Kinder is already free. Learn more

Before kinder · 7:00–8:30am
$23.25 pre-booked · $25.00 casual. CCS may apply.
After kinder · 4:00–6:00pm
$31.00 pre-booked · $33.00 casual. CCS may apply.
In long day care, eligible families also receive the Victorian Free Kinder offset of up to $2,101 per child per year (2026 rate), on top of any CCS.

How is my gap fee worked out?
Your gap is the daily fee minus your Child Care Subsidy. Your CCS percentage depends on your family income, and the hours you can claim depend on your activity. Use the calculator above for an estimate.
Do I pay full fees until CCS starts?
Yes. Full fees apply until your subsidy is confirmed in our system, so we recommend applying in myGov as early as possible.
Does CCS apply to before and after kinder care?
CCS may apply to eligible wrap-around care bookings, just like long day care.
Where can I check my CCS percentage?
Log in to your Centrelink account through myGov, or use the estimator on the Services Australia website.
